I've got a '94 R2 with a Kenwood KDCX659 that's intermittently not outputting an MP3/CD signal. The music would play fine one second and I would suddenly hear a static noise and then no music, just some low volume static and then after a while the music would come back (after a static "pop"), the radio function works fine although I do hear similar static noise while listening to the radio.

This problem seems to be related to hitting bumps at times, but not always.

Any ideas on troubleshooting? I'm horrible at EE stuff so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
