Angry no sound at high volume???

just put some new rockford fosgate 6x8's in my fd. i also replaced the door speakers with rockford components too. I have a pioneer amp runnning to all 5 speakers in the car (including stock center speaker). After i installed the 6x8's the sound would go silent and then back on, and off, and on, at high volumes (i noticed it mainly does it when the bass is supposed to hit in the song) does this mean i need a capacitator? i would not think i would need one since i had an 800 watt sub hooked up to a seperate amp before i installed the rear 6x8s and had the pioneer amp running ONLY the two door speakers and center speaker. When i had this setup, the SPEAKERS (sub would keep playing) would only cut out like they are doing now once in a blue moon, which was not enough for me to care.

i am 99% sure everything is wired right. Could it be a short? could the magnet on one of the speakers touching the frame of the car cause this?

just stumped as to why they would play perfect at low-med volumes but not play at all when turned up??

I had this prob WITH a cap. W/ the greddy pulley, and a red top optima (bad idea, seeing that the battery never got a chance to fully recharge), the audio system was draining so much power it would cut off at higher sound levels. Had to run the power source directly to the battery (not off a secondary power source), and get a new battery (which still died soon enough). I'm getting a yellow top deep cycle next time, needless to say
