New seats :D Recaros!

These came in a little over a week ago finally after consolidating a bunch of stuff. Finally got around to putting them in. Last thing left is picking up a steering hub to install the Re-A D/cut steering wheel

Thumbs up nice seats... I have some ?'s

Love those seats. Could you give us some feedback?
1) Fit? Do they rub anything, block vision etc.
2) Weight? How much do they weigh. Can't tell if they are made of a lightweight material such as Kevlar, CF etc...
3) Cost? How much and did you need special rails etc.
4) Any other special features? Such as FIA approved, color choices, fabric choices etc..
I can't find these seats on the Recaro website so I'm asking you.

Cheers,

Frank

1. no rubbing at all w/ the recaro rails (at any position fwd/back)
2. they're fiberglass. i didnt get a chance to weigh it, but might get a chance to later this week because i want to re-adjust the passenger seat and will need take it out
3. too expensive hahaha. i ordered the ASM edition TS-G. but you can search for a normal set of TS-G or RS-G seats from recaro and they're a little cheaper.
4. FIA approved. I believe standard colors are full black, red, or blue.

I installed seat to rails first, then the assembly into the car

if you're wondering why the drivers seat is so close ^^;; I'm 5'3'' hahahah.
If you're just wondering for fitment...the boyfriend's 5'8'' /150lb and fits into the seat comfortably, he said there was more room than my Bride Zeta Neo IIs, but not much more room than that.

Thanks, I'd be lucky to get a butt check in those seats. Anyways, very nice seats, enjoy.

I'm looking into installing a set of Sparco Evo2, but the install will require a custom make non adjustable seat mounts and door pnels trimmed and reskinned.

Very very nice seats. Is the seating higher or lower than stock? Where purchased?

What does this mean? Are you a DJ or some sort of thug with spinners on your vehicle??? I hope it's the former and not the latter

model just to clear up again: ASM limited TS-G (but they have RS-G for different recline angle also)
Seats are comfy. Tough getting out of the car because of the clearance between the side bolsters and the steering wheel...but I figure its just a temporary thing until I buy a hub for the steering wheel. You can adjust height...its lower than stock for me right now...when....I really need to readjust it higher :X

And I neither DJ nor have anything that would imply that on any of my cars. Ken's referring to something more vulgar from a joke of his...urban dictionary it. ROFL.
