MA New seat suggestions

I'm trying to decide whether to get new seats or reuphoster the stock seats in my fc. Reupholster's gonna run upwards of $1000 for what I want. I'm starting to think new 3rd party seats might be do-able for that price.

Any suggestions?
Looking for the same comfort level of the stock seats, and of course, they need to fit correctly in the car--so I'm supposing I'd need some sort of bracket adapters especially for the pass side seat.

Not all seats are built the same and dimensions vary as well. Your price range of $1,000 is good, but we would need your height, weight, and waist size to properly help you out with suggestions.

Gonna take a look at some Corbeau seats. Seems like they give good bang for the buck.

My late reply is due to finals this week, others are probably still in shock and awe that you fit in a 7.
here are a few suggestions. Good luck with your choice OP.

Make: Status Racing
Model: Ring GT (fits up to 38in waist)

Make: Sparco
Model: Chrono Road (designed for large drivers)

Make: RaceTech
Model: RT4009W (Wide)

Thanks, I'm gonna research the recliners you mentioned.

... and if I really wanted to shock you, I'd make mention of the GTI I used to use as a daily driver.
-- and I mean *original* gti, as in 1984 VW Rabbit. I had to fold myself into that car, but was worth it.
