C/F Vented Hood, 2 Hood Pins, No OEM Latch?
well i have a Carbon Fiber hood on my car but recently removed the hood latch because i could not get it to close with the Latch on. when i had the stock hood i had to kind of slam it. i got a replacement hood latch and it still did the same. so i just removed the cable and latch itself.
i just oredered some hood pins and now im wondering if i need the OEM latch along with the hood pins?
i did have my hood fly up on me once and im not looking forward to that happening again. so what do i do?

Hood pins without hood latch is fine although I will admit I'm running both. But I think I'm an exception to most.
I have a CF Hood on one of my cars, and I'm a big fan of the AeroLatch Hood Pins. Sit flush to the hood and they offer carbon fiber so it matched my hood.

I'm wondering the same thing, My RE N1 hood would close but it sits ~1/4" lower than the bumper when shut with the hood latch, I'm debating if I want to just remove the latch and run hood pins.
