New to RX-7 Stereos

ah I have a 1990 GX assuming its 4 speakers, I changed the speakers and the last owner put in a deck but I want to change it considering CDs sound weak (bass) on it (compared to radio music).

I was just wondering if theres anything I should be careful of and if there were any limits to the kind of decks I can get (50w?). Any other thing I should worry about blowing or working the fuses?

And if there are no real problems then whats a good decent priced mp3 deck? Looking for Under $150. Whichever brand makes good low end mp3 decks I guess. Pioneer? Sony? Kenwood?

I have a Kenwood CD player 50watts per channel, under $150 and it plays MP3'3. I bought a wire kit that is made for the Mazda stock stereo and another made for the Kenwood. These connect together so you don't have to cut anything. They were about $20. I then cut the wires for the speakers on the Kenwood wire adapter, so I could run new wires to the new speakers. By doning this you by-pass the built in stock amps(15wattts). Best Buy had everything I purchased.
