While the new RE kit is definitely overdone...it still makes me say "dayyumn" when I look at it...overdone, but not fugly!

All I was saying, is that I think (this is an opinion) that the R-Magic kit flows with the stock lines better that the RE kit. It is at least rounded and not too boxy. Look at the front fenders. They do have the big gap where the vents should be but, they are rounded on top whereas the RE fenders have a very sharp cutoff. The RE kit I was talking about, is not the one you posted anyway. Ill bet that is a custom one-off kit that you cannot buy. The RE widebody I was refering to is the kit that Rotary Extreme duplicates. In case your eyes are painted on, the widebody that I am discussing is obviously not the one you are looking at. I am sorry for the confusion.
BTW, I never said it was "fugly"

Hey, I wasn't saying you're not entitled to your opinion. To each his own. I was simply disagreeing w/ it I dunno...the gaps in the fenders just immediately turned me off from the kit...but again, that's just me.

Oh and my fault about the kit...when you said the new RE kit, I just assumed you meant the GTC kit, since the only new kit I know of from RE is the new 2004 RE GTC kit, pictured above -- which you're prob right about...I HIGHLY doubt it's something you can buy (unless, Jason, you have something up your sleeve you'd like to share w/ us?? ). You prob mean the 2002 RE GT Widebody kit, pictured here, right?

Nah the GTC aero (YELLOW FD) isnt for purchase, Im sure its possible to get, but im sure its $$$$$$ if they even let it go.

As for the R-magic fender kit, its just the fenders, Im not even sure if they will break the kits for front or rear, I still need to talk to them.

What about the combo light covers? I realize they aren't part of the R Magic kit but can they be had?

Oh c'mon Jason...even the older (pre 2004) yellow GTC aero?? OMG that thing is sooo freakin hot...I would SOOO rock that. PRICE QUOTE!! lol. Is that even a kit? Cuz I wouldn't be surprised if that's VERY extensive body work...not just slapping on a kit...

The yellow GTC kit? Oh man oh man oh man. I would LOVE to see the expression on cops' faces here in Fairfax County as I drove an FD w/ the GTC kit on it LOL. They'd freakin call for backup and the SWAT team! Lol

I remember a while back, Ryan from PFS got pulled over w/ his FD (the black one that had PETER FARRELL SUPERCARS written in huge letters over the hood), and the cop was like, "what is this?? you can't drive this car! this is illegal! you can't have a car like this!" lol. And it was entirely based on just cuz the car looks like it's instigating racing LOL

Thumbs up

Good to know they will continue to make fits for our great FD, JT. What other factories does this also apply to?

You know what I just realized?? We're worried about the FD market being a dying market, cuz it's a 10 year old car. But it's NOT!! Only in the US did the FD stop in 95! In J-land, they have 'em straight up to 2002! So it's still a pretty new car, and I'd think definitely still a strong market!

Oh how true this is! People often overlook the fact that they made them in Japan until just two short years ago. Its amazing how an 11 year old car (mine) still looks good compared to todays standards.
