Right I'm in the market for a new paint job.
I found a local Panel & paint shop that will do anything I want including bay for around 2.5k except is ' house of Kolor ' colors cos they cost more so I'm budgetting about 3k for the job.

At one stage I was looking at a pearl white but I've noticed latley everybody around my countries going that color so I want something a little different but not that racey blue, no pukey orange or yellow and nothing that yells " I look like a tosser".

I saw a DVD the other night of the STILLWAY FD doing a 9 second public road run. That was painted a kind of moroney red color, that looked real classy. Does anyone have a pic of this FD? or if you have pics of any other FD's with cool colors please show me.

p.s. I have looked through the sticky "post pics of your car" thread but nothing takes my fancy

That is a picture of my vintage-red that was digitally editted by somebody. I think that color is badass; it reminds me of that deep Aston-Martin/Maseratti red! This is the original pic: (v.r. is a badass color too!)

Car colors are really subjective. Personal taste, age, and how much attention you want all factor in. If you want attention, remember that you will also draw attention from the police. I used to have a red FB, and would get pulled over about once a year. In my white FD, I have been pulled over only once in almost 5 years.

One of the nicest non-stock colors I have seen is a Corvette (Micron??) Blue. That being said, pearl white would be my first choice .
