Im going to be buying a new hood in about a month. I was thinking of getting the RE Amemiya AD hood 9 in Carbon Fiber. Im really anti scoot, but I also have my eye on the Mazdaspeed vented hood. But to me the ReA hood seems to be more rare and more exotic.

Anyone have any opinions.

But most of them are booked up.
So they are not press released.
I will give you info.

By the way, Scoot Hood is disadvantageous regarding engine bay air flow.
So our product doesn't have a center vent.

I'd would get the RE-A 9 hood WAY before I'd get the Scoot hood ...but you can't get the rain gutters with the RE-A hood, and it'd be on my daily driver. I guess I'm stuck with the Scoot.

how come u are anti scoot hood?

 

Scoot hoods in my opinion are ugly, that front vent is god aweful in my eyes. Most people say they look great in person, well when i saw it face to face i still thought it was ugly. Would rather be stock than with a scoot.

 

I like the knightsports vented hood. Thats the one I will be getting eventually.
