I'm just worried about covering a curved lense. Does anyone know if the 3M stuff complies to curves well without wrinkling/folding?

headlights are a piece of cake! To OP, if you are concerned, contact 3M or any of the places that does car bras. Personally, the amount of money you spend, its not worth it as when you nick it it looks bad and you would need to re wrap. I would never get a clear bra unless I have a collectors car with original paint. Painting a bumper for an FD costs around 300-400.. Bra was 250-350. |
If anyone wants to sell their OEM headlight covers (damaged or not is fine), send me a PM

Back to topic. Original light frame had 2 big holes which will not allow us to direct mount the lights on. So I made these templates which will be made in metal plate as final production. Screw holes will be pre drilled for the lights.

Are there any photos available with this bolted on the car?

My FD is wating online for bodyshop to cut and paint my front bumper. My G35 Coupe (top secret) and wife's Honda Fit(nobless bodykit) are in front of the line.

How's the fitment and quality? Are the shrouds thin or sturdy, better lighting would help us see. Congrats on the new lights .

Sorry for the poor quality iPhone pics. -the lights came with the kit. Quality is OK. Figuring out how to mount the light that came with the kit was the trick. Needed to cut to accommodate the larger light. Will post better pictures once I color match.

Right on, looks good so far. My favorite for a light kit.

Ahh I remember the good ole days of my RR lights, this kit looks good. Here is a reference pic of what the authentic kit looked like on my old fd.
