Could you post step by step on how to install & measurements on the cutting part if you can. Looks really good.

Red Devil 03-30-11 02:40 AM

These lights are nice!

Will they fit with 90mm lights in both or do you recommend 120mm for drivinglights?

fd3s777 03-30-11 03:01 AM

90 will fit , but will look very wierd. Also 120MM has a better light source.

Red Devil 03-30-11 03:45 AM

Okay. Sent you an pm about price for this kit :)

1TxRx7 03-30-11 09:02 AM

Anyone have pics installed, the price is right. Just waiting on members feedback on quality and fitment. Cutting or trimming a new bumper , is never easy .Unless you know its on the money in the fitment, and not paper thin fiberglass crap... SOOO. anyone willing to share???

RX72NR 03-30-11 09:41 AM

I can't wait to get these on my seven! I'm thinking of incorporating Audi style l.e.d.s

carbonfaddict 03-30-11 01:12 PM

Price for these please. I have cash and I'm local. You can use my car as a test dummy and I won't charge you;).

ALPSTA 03-30-11 02:32 PM

I assume these are lighter than stock pop-ups, correct?

What is the weight of stock lights vs. sleek kit?

BLACK MAMBA 03-30-11 03:28 PM

also waiting on install pics

COOL!

I would like to see some on some cars.

fd3s777 04-06-11 01:40 AM

OKay guys. I'm going to sacrifice my RE front bumper and have these light put on. Just to make sure all the brackets on the base is good. At same time I'll doc installation procedure on my FD. some more came in. I had all the light hole cutted.

This bracket goes on top of the car frame just like how RE lights are.

On the side, this goes to the fender hole. Of course I will include a long screw like how RE lights holds.

I also want to know the weight of these (each or as a set). I emailed you guys about this last month but never got a response.

fd3s777 04-13-11 10:02 PM

AS you can from my FD photo. I had the light frame cutted 10 year ago when I had the real RE sleek headlight kit installed. My plan is to have the lights mounted on the light frame. Now my FD don't have that back plate. So I will have to have a custom plate made for my FD in order to mount the lights on. Basicly you don't adjust the lights while the base is on. You slip on the base with the lenses on top after the lights is mounted and adjusted.

When I shipped to package, the whole package weights 7.3 lb. So it should be less than 5 lbs.

So roughly 5lbs for the pair...thats good to hear.

Any idea where we could find a 3M type clear protector so to not damage the lenses?

...or just Google '3M clear bra'

Great look. Now match it with a quality projector light and you'll have success. The Hella's you posted up are not projectors and Hellas makes some low cost, projector options. Why not use those?

It's great to have a nice look but what is the point without proper projector lighting?

I'm just worried about covering a curved lense. Does anyone know if the 3M stuff complies to curves well without wrinkling/folding?
