So...called you guys about acquiring 2 sets of headlight covers for your other lights several days ago. No call back yet. A little understaffed or what?

Thanks.

BLACK MAMBA 02-17-11 04:10 PM

any pics installed

KaiFD3S 02-17-11 05:01 PM

Does this fit in the stock location without cutting the bumper, kinda looks like the Rotary Run lights.

AzEKnightz 02-17-11 05:29 PM

this does look like the rotary run. I guess that's why its call "RR"

Bases are rotary run. I just made a cover lens for it. Need to cut bumper. This is why I'm putting on new bumper for it. Cannot decide to put on my Odula bumper or same RE bumper I have.

Phoenix 6.0 02-17-11 08:18 PM

can't wait to see installed pics. really want sleeks with good light output. what is the pricing on these?

fd3s777 02-18-11 02:32 AM

Test one. Bullet projectors from Infiniti Q45! This is for people who want them to look good. For good light source I'm working on another with different lights

BStallion 02-18-11 07:16 AM

What would be the price for a set?

Laz93RX7 02-18-11 07:40 AM

teamafx 02-20-11 06:31 AM

fd3s777 02-21-11 08:38 PM

Thesocio 02-28-11 06:37 PM

R-R-Rx7 02-28-11 06:41 PM

MR_Rick 02-28-11 07:11 PM

I wonder what this would look like with the stock bumper.

evot23 02-28-11 07:18 PM

These look pretty sweet. I don't like the idea of cutting the bumper either but damn nice.

wankel factory 03-10-11 09:11 PM

Very nice indeed i wonder how much bumper we have to remove , but they look awesome

RX72NR 03-29-11 10:14 PM

pm'ed you, looks awesome!

fd3s777 03-29-11 11:29 PM

Thanks. PMed.

orange7 03-30-11 01:13 AM

Could you post step by step on how to install & measurements on the cutting part if you can. Looks really good.

Red Devil 03-30-11 02:40 AM

These lights are nice!

Will they fit with 90mm lights in both or do you recommend 120mm for drivinglights?

fd3s777 03-30-11 03:01 AM

90 will fit , but will look very wierd. Also 120MM has a better light source.

Red Devil 03-30-11 03:45 AM

Okay. Sent you an pm about price for this kit :)

1TxRx7 03-30-11 09:02 AM

Anyone have pics installed, the price is right. Just waiting on members feedback on quality and fitment. Cutting or trimming a new bumper , is never easy .Unless you know its on the money in the fitment, and not paper thin fiberglass crap... SOOO. anyone willing to share???

RX72NR 03-30-11 09:41 AM

I can't wait to get these on my seven! I'm thinking of incorporating Audi style l.e.d.s

carbonfaddict 03-30-11 01:12 PM

Price for these please. I have cash and I'm local. You can use my car as a test dummy and I won't charge you;).

ALPSTA 03-30-11 02:32 PM

I assume these are lighter than stock pop-ups, correct?

What is the weight of stock lights vs. sleek kit?

BLACK MAMBA 03-30-11 03:28 PM

also waiting on install pics

1FAASTFD3S 03-30-11 05:10 PM

pmed you.

fd3s777 03-30-11 10:58 PM

Returned all PMs. THanks.

Herblenny 04-05-11 09:28 PM

COOL!

I would like to see some on some cars.

fd3s777 04-06-11 01:40 AM

OKay guys. I'm going to sacrifice my RE front bumper and have these light put on. Just to make sure all the brackets on the base is good. At same time I'll doc installation procedure on my FD. some more came in. I had all the light hole cutted.

fd3s777 04-06-11 01:42 AM

This bracket goes on top of the car frame just like how RE lights are.

On the side, this goes to the fender hole. Of course I will include a long screw like how RE lights holds.

0110-M-P 04-13-11 09:09 PM

I also want to know the weight of these (each or as a set). I emailed you guys about this last month but never got a response.

fd3s777 04-13-11 10:02 PM

AS you can from my FD photo. I had the light frame cutted 10 year ago when I had the real RE sleek headlight kit installed. My plan is to have the lights mounted on the light frame. Now my FD don't have that back plate. So I will have to have a custom plate made for my FD in order to mount the lights on. Basicly you don't adjust the lights while the base is on. You slip on the base with the lenses on top after the lights is mounted and adjusted.

When I shipped to package, the whole package weights 7.3 lb. So it should be less than 5 lbs.

So roughly 5lbs for the pair...thats good to hear.

Any idea where we could find a 3M type clear protector so to not damage the lenses?

MattGold 04-14-11 04:07 PM

http://www.clearmask.com/

...or just Google '3M clear bra'

David Hayes 04-14-11 04:34 PM

Great look. Now match it with a quality projector light and you'll have success. The Hella's you posted up are not projectors and Hellas makes some low cost, projector options. Why not use those?

It's great to have a nice look but what is the point without proper projector lighting?

I'm just worried about covering a curved lense. Does anyone know if the 3M stuff complies to curves well without wrinkling/folding?
