I don't know what those abreviations are but if you are using the head units amp and connecting with wires instead of RCA's, I sincerely doubt it has a 5th channel. I think you mixed up the right speaker for the center speaker.

I agree with racer. Aftermarket headunits do not run 5 channels only 4. To test to make sure you have crimped the right speaker leeds take a 9 volt battery and touch each speaker wire to the terminals. The speaker will make a sound (do not hold it for long), and you can tell what speaker goes to what wire.
Oh one other question. Is your headunit powering every speaker? Are you using external amps? If not, whats powering your sub?? I hope not the headunit.

You have 4 channels out of the headunit, so 4 speakers should play, FT left, FT Right, R Right, R Left. Does your car have a Bose? Check to see if your car has factory amps, if so you are going to have to pull them. You cannot run the after market amplified headunit the same way a unamplified factory one does.

I got the Bose system in my Touring. Got a Kenwood CD player. Got the Metra wiring adapter. Soldered all the wires to their corresponding wire on the CD head unit. Soldered the amp turn on wire (blue) from CD player to the green and black wire in the car (cut it just before it got to the connector because the Metra harness didn't have a wire in this location). All of my speakers work including the center channel. I just figured the center channel was running off the right or left front channel.

You got Bose, or base stereo?
