Lightbulb Need to upgrade FD speakers...options?

I have stock speakers in my FD R1 (pretty sure it's Non-Bose) and I'm now looking to upgrade to something reasonable.

I've searched the forums and didn't find anything I was looking for... It was a lot of really high end options, which are nice, but I'm looking for something more in the moderate range, something that isn't teeth-shatteringly loud and or have a crazy sub woofer in the back.

I just need pleasant and clear sounding, with more bass than stock and won't break the bank. Is there anything out there worth looking into?

I've had nice experiences with Boston Acoustic. Really any modern coax speakers in the stock locations will give you good sound and acceptable bass. I wouldn't cut the doors for tweeters or throw a box in the back for a sub.

R1's don't come with bose, so you're ahead of the game. De-bose-ing is slightly awful.
