The body shop has had the most trouble block sanding he carbon fiber hood than anything else.
They say that the hood is more difficult because it is resin and not alluminum. It's alot harder to get it flat. It wants to show every imperfection when painted. This actually threw them a week behind schedule.
Yes the hood is lighter than stock.
