need an opinion on fd interior

ive been thinking about doing some of my interior parts ins microsude and i just wanted to have other peoples opinion on getting these parts covered in microsude. O btw it is for an fd in an all black interior. I was thinking about getting the door panels back recovered in it. so door panels, rear bins, rear panels, rear hatch plastics including the plastic up on the hatch also fallowed by the center tunnel cover redone. Other wise i just wanted to get peoples thoughts on how they think it may look.

there are so many versions of suede out there...your best bet is to use Alcantara. its the same material used on labos and other high end autos. It is fade resistant and easier to work with. Make sure you have someone who KNOWS what they are doing. the rx7 fd parts are very curvey so if the prep work and bonding isnt done right, it will show in the near feature...I had my parts done by one of the best in the car game...he took a month..but I did the WHOLE interior. when i get the car back in 5 weeks ill have full pics of everything. right now just the dirty dash.

black would look cleanest. grey would be less prone to fading over time

I think that will look really nice. Go for it and post pics. You might want to search for Gordon Monson on this forum. He redid his interior in leather and it looks great in person.

i know gordon and his interior looks amzing... this is going to be a long process since i have soo much going on so i may only do a few panels right now and do the rest as time progresses. Basicaly the dash door panels headliner and apillers and work my way back as i start to put my car back together lol. Im going to eventualy post a build pic thread but theres not much to post right now

I really dig the Alcantara. It updates the interior and makes it seem really classy.
