Need Help To Remove Oem Side Skirt!

Unhappy Need Help To Remove Oem Side Skirt!

Im trying to remove these, but they are stuck on with some type of glue/adhesive....


any idea to remove them ,

What exactly are you trying to remove? There is no OEM side skirt on USA models.

This is probably 3m type double face adhesive tape. Take a hair dryer and apply heat to an area at the front and carefully apply pressure to remove it. Keep the heat on the area while removing the panel. After it is off you need to remove the adhesive with an approved paint safe adhesive remover. See a body shop

get some strong fishing wire, and put it between the edge of the sideskirt and the car... then get some gloves on so you don't cut your hands and pull the fishing wire down the side of the car, separating the side skirt... this has worked for me in the past, but if not then i would recommend heating them up and trying it again

actually the finishline dealer installed aero kit is oem, and it has that nasty goo on the side skirts and bumper caps. i jsut got done swaping it from my 88 to my 86.wait for a hot day or use a blowdryer
