Need help major interior decisions
I got a 93 FD, I bought it trashed, interior practically destroyed and so I’m trying to decide what’s the best way to go interior wise. I started out by taking out everything that was inside (the car looked like it was in a junkyard for 20 years) and cleaning it up but I was really unsuccessful because plastic clips that have seen better days were snapping like hot cakes. So now I’m left with this useless dirty/scrached/destroyed interior.
I've seen a few FD's with stripped interiors and I love the look when its done right (white FD in Jtuner if anyone’s ever seen it) but the problem is that its so freaken loud it makes me want to lay down some sound proofing but there’s no where to hide it with a stripped interior. (It doesn’t have any cats anymore its even loud threw the 30 somethin inch long muffler and when the duel tail waistgates open up it sounds like a train). I know how rare FD's are junkyard wise and I’ve been unsuccessful tracking one down so I called up Mazda to get a price quote. When I woke up from passing out and remembered how much they told me.... $600 for a piece there $500 for a piece here about $4244 all together without center console, most the knickknacks, and no headliner/carpet. So I'm rethinking the Mazda way. It would probably be cheaper for me to have someone custom make a full freaking interior but I don’t know who or how to get that done.
I'm going to use it as a daily driver, I’m not really a man to care much for comfort but when you have to yell at the person three feet away from you it gets kinda uncomfy. Not to mention the hole driver’s side door pieces rattle to the point of me wanting to dump super glue all over them. To be honest I would rather have a full nice looking interior then the stripped just because I feel it keeps the cars worth up and god knows how hard its going to be to find pieces in 10 years.
So I’m basically stuck with a 4500+ dollar bill from Mazda (but it would have a nice brand spankin new mint condition interior) or a loud uncomfy stripped interior.... or some thing ugly right in the middle (were I’m at now). I would like all your opinions on this because I’m stumped, expensive decision for a freakin interior of plastics and rugging.
Any helpful ideas would be much appreciated. I've just invested about 7000 into the motor so I’d like to hold on to it but I’m even considing selling the car w/o motor and starting over just taking the punch to the face for the stupid buy.
P.S. If anyone knows about an FD in a junk yard with a nice interior or if anyone is selling theirs let me know!

I'm with the other guys. It'll be a long process but I'd piece it together from different places if I had to, and if you can get the carpet somewhere else for cheaper I'd do that too. That price from Mazda is for the birds.
How about a red interior (bins, door panels, kick panels, center divider, rear panels, clips, sunroof controller, door sills) to go with your white FD? I have the red seats also, but they are in bad shape. I will let it go for way less than Mazda wants for the stuff new.
PM me if you are interested.
