Well I'm not one for butchering harness' so maybe I'm weird.. ifyou have yet to cut it you may want to try this.

Simple plug and play.. and then paint by number (well color). I don't have my manual here with me at work so I can' t give you the info you need.
What I'd do or what I DID do to track down what speaker is what... use a "D" battery tape a wire to the top and one to the bottom..
Then with your fancy new tool on each pair connect the + and the - to the set and you should hear the speaker crackel... that should tell you which speaker is which.
Also there is a center speaker that is powered by an amp located in the dash. The left and right speakers pass through that amp. If you upgraded your speakers and don't think your getting enough juice to the ones located in the doors keep that in mind. There is an unseen part of the radio in the dash.
I'll post the wire color information tomorrow. Also do a search you may find this already posted. I find it hard to belive that this has yet to be discused. =)

the FSM wiring diagram is too complicated for the average folk trying to install a new radio. i've simplified some of the stuff here although there are some unknown wires probably for the center speaker, amplifier or bose system. there is also a cd player connector, middle black wire, and corner black wire from the stock radio i'm not sure what it does.
