need cheap bass fix

hey guys,
this driving around with no bass thing is really pissing me off, i dont even have enough lower end to silence out my exhaust note. i need a cheap bass fix for the time being, whats the best and cheapest way to get decent sounding and powerful bass? i know im not going to win a DB competition or have the sharpest bass without shelling out a few bills...but i need something!
THANKS

www.blueprintdrivers.com

Get the BP1001 10" subwoofer for 69.00. To get a comparable sub, you would need to shell out 125-175.00. Build your own box. and get this amp http://www.competitionsound.com/sonxmcarauda.html. For under 250.00 it would be hard to beat.

A cheap fix is the bazooka tube type of sub. It's already in an enclosure, and has amplification built into it. You can get a cheap one at Canadian Tire or Wal-Mart for something like $70.

I'm not impressed by them. I have heard some SAS Bazookas that sounded pretty good though.

I'd stick with the BP1001 in a sealed box.

The reason I ask that is because I can give you plans for a tube style enclosure that will utterly destroy any bazooka that would cost 125.00 in materials. You would only need to supply an amp.

thanks for the help dnewman, i'll e-mail you soon when my home computer is back from the shop. I have to reply to all of these at school.
in the meantime i found two Jensen single 10' bandpass subs and enclosures for 70$ each (around 45$ american) and i can run them off of a cheap amp, this might solve my problem! what do you guys think about this idea?
