Need a ballpark figure for molding RB front air dam

After countless hours of messing with my RB front air dam and not being able to get the gap between it and the bumper to go away, I think it is time to suck it up and get it done right. So my question is, about how much would it cost for an auto body shop to put it on, mold it to the car, and paint it and the front bumper. Please let me know.
Thanks,
Kevin

Ask a local body shop. They'll be able to provide you with an accurate estimate, and you'd already have an answer by now.

Yea, I called a couple of shops, but they won't give me and estimate over the phone and I haven't had time to go there in person. Plus I figured that the members of this forum would be more honest (or at least less biased) than some of the local body shops.

But it still doesn't matter what someone here may think it will cost. You're still going to have to go to those body shops and pay their price if you want it done. Prices will vary on so many factors, it's best just to take the car in and see what the shops think. Besides, you havn't even posted a picture of the problem.

I wasn't asking what someone here "thinks" it will cost, I was asking approximately how much it will cost. Specifically, I was asking someone who may know because they work in a body shop or they had a similar part molded on thier car, etc., not for a random guess. Plus, if I had at least a ball park figure in my head, then when I do get an estimate, I will know whether it was reasoanble or not. As for the prices varying, that's why I was asking for a ballpark figure, not an exact amount.

You asked for a ballpark figure. Body work depends ENTIRELY on location. If you live in a northern climate, where they salt the roads, and in California, body work is gonna be a hell of alot more expensive. Supply and demand after all. If they have more people needing body work because of rust, accidents due to snow and ice, etc. theyre going to charge alot more. Also shops that dont get all that much business are going to charge more to compensate for that. Shops that have high business may short cut to get your car out faster. You can't really ask on an online forum how much body work is going to cost. Who knows what has to be done to your car, because of rust or maybe a little accident to get the air dam to fit. Only way you'll get an accurate estimate, is if you GO TO THE BODY SHOP as diablone pointed out above.

That doesn't sound like a bad idea, considering what a pain in the *** it has been. (I hate fiberglass) But I think I am going to hold onto it and spend the ridiculous amount of money this thing is going to cost me to get it done right. Thanks for the offer though.
