Why don't you just buy FD-specific low position Recaro brackets for your Recaro seat?

read that they're not offered through Recaro NA and it's a hassle to deal w/ Recaro JPN :p

Yes, it's a nightmare dealing w/ most companies in Japan. But if you want the Recaro low position brackets, I'll get 'em for ya no problem. Shouldn't take long at all in fact. Just PM me if you're interested.

Say Ramy,
Would those brackets work for mounting a Sparco/Momo seat as well?

Kai,

the rails you have, are they the FGs? the two piece ones? I tried the FO which are one piece.. and there was a huge gap between the side bracket and the seat holes on either side.

Haha. I'll take that as a compliment Oh and I'm not full of it btw...I'm serious. I tried to get the OEM rails for the RZ Recaro seats in 97 and up FD's for nearly a year, and got NOWHERE fast. That's why I decided to just deal w/ everything in Japan directly.

you got PM[/QUOTE]I'll get back to ya ASAP; I'm in Texas, on my way back home very late tonight/early tomarrow morning.

Peter, I have no idea. They're FD specific, meaning the holes w/ line up w/ the floor of the car. More than that, I really don't know, esp. when you're talking about one brand's rails used on another brand seat. But man are they low profile...
