Did you ever notice if the led light inside could be easily replaced just in case it ever blew out? If so, it would be really cool to change the light to what ever color you wanted. Bling! Bling!

 

its probly the plastic that is red not the light, and its probly a LCD and can not be replaced

The US ones are all 6-speed. Go to ebay or your local mazda dealer

 

WOW LCD would be awesome, but it's not and LCD I can assure you. But you prob meant LED anyway, which may be the case

 

I dont think your going to find the LIGHT **** in the US quite yet.

t-von: i had a look but no visible way of dismantling it (maybe if you pull and twist etc but no tiny screws or anything) but it come with a fuse built into the wiring so i should imagine it has a very long life-span.

blackkiller7: yes you can get a lit up 6 speed here in the UK, not much use to an rx7 owner though really (??)

 

They are lit by an LED. Canzoomer has the 6 speed ones in stock, and will be checking on the 5 speed ones soon. E-mail him at "maurice@harddata.com" for pricing and payment options. They are black leather, but I think you can get a few other colours as well (but not yellow ).

They are about the same weight as the stock 3rd gen *****, which aids in shifting, I believe.

The light is cool, but I think it would get old IMHO

You always have your hand on it anyway and wont see it anyway. I mean it makes a cool addition dont get me wrong, but I will stick we my heavy ash C`s ****.

venomrx7---I can see about some pics, when I go mess with my FD next time. It looked like a ball. Lot like the OMP ones but nicer looking.

Doesnt come with the short shifter kit, it was another product they sold, but C`s is out of business so they are harder to find.....
