My New H.i.d. Kit...must See!!

I bought this kit on Ebay for $400, and it is Hi/Low beam. One of the best things I have bought so far. Check It Out...Honestly over 3 times brighter!!

It looks just like pair of those blue bulbs. Do you have a picture of actual light patern on the road?

Damn that looks pretty blue, but probably just the white balance.

You got any day time pics of your car?

Post some pictures of the lights reflecting off a wall or garage door and pictures of the lights illuminating a dark road.

I will when I can. The kit is 6000k, and it is made by mcculloch. It is much brighter, and much easier to see at night. What more can you ask for? They look a lot more blue in the picture then in real life. I know the housings were not meant for H.I.D. blah blah blah, but who the hell cares! It is brighter, and I think we could all use them. I live in an area that has tons of deer, and huge pot holes. It makes it a lot easier to see. Looks very nice too!

^ Damn, reminds me of Cyclops' lazer beam

Actually I have the same kit for my FD as well. 6000k mculluch hid's, but I took them out recently since the light output from the stock reflectors wasn't so great.

I would point them lower than they are now 'cause you will most likely blind people on the road since they are so bright...don't want to attract any undue attention (cops).

Exactly what I want for my FD. How much and where did you get them. The cheapest I saw some 12k's were on Ebay for 365 shipped.

Glare does not equal brightness.

12,000 K HIDs produce LESS lumens than a 4600 K kit. <===FACT

They might seem brighter b/c of the terrible light pattern.

They will be brighter than ANY regular (filament bulb), but they will also PRODUCE ALOT of glare b/c the stock headlight housing is not meant for a HID bulb.

I have a set of HIDs sitting in the garage not being used b/c of the amount of glare produced even when PERFECTLY aimed.

I know that FC and FD's aren't the same car, but that looks worse than my stock FD lights just using Sylvania Silverstars....

the higher K the more glare you will have
4300K will be best and a great light output and a decent cutoff
8000K when the light gets real blue it really scatters the light, tons of glare
i couldnt imagine 12K probally looks "cool" and brighter then stock
if your doing it for looks giver, but if u really wanna upgrade your lighting then get some lower K ones
plus driving with a higher K really strains your eyes
