lol, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that the Rotas were probably less expensive that the wheel that they're knock-offs of.
For 700 bucks, that's a deal, knock off or not! Those KDW-2s cost near that by themselves.

Work Meister = $. Maybe in the future. These will do for now, because the tires on my FD wheels are almost gone. I figured why spend $500 for new tires when I can add $200 on top of that and get these

Also, I don't need wider in the rear. The engine is bone stock. It's more of a show car

Yeah, the 50mm rear offset is a bit high so there is about an 1 inch gap between the tire and the fender. I'm gonna pick up a set of 15mm spacers and do a little fender roll and that should shift it over enough to give it a nicer, wider stance.

Looks nice. You really can't complain at that price. On the street you might as well be running some less expensive wheels so that you will not be as mad if they get bent, scraped, etc.

I would've chosen the 5zigen fn01r for the FD at that price, the D2's seem to match econoboxes better .

Remember, $700 is for the wheels AND tires. Look at what tires they came with! The tires alone are $

Too bad they can't pass as work meisters. The 5 spokes on the work meisters sit inside the inner lip. The D2s are actually replicas of the SSR Professors, but even so, it is very easy to spot the real deal Professors

Can you really widen wheels? Would that involve cutting the wheel in half and welding a spacer in between the two halves?

I bought some 20mm spacers off of Ebay for $79 shipped:

Before:

After:

The Wheels in the rear have +50mm offset. With the 20mm spacers, the wheels are equivalent to +30mm offset. I think a 25mm spacer would work if I rolled the rear fenders a bit.
