My exterior project

I've been slacking on getting my exterior done so I hope posting this might somehow get my ars up and moving. Here is a list of what I have on my FD

C-West full kit
Knightsports 3pc wing
R-Magic wide front fenders- still waiting on them
C-West headlights
99 combo lights of course
LED tail lights
RE Amemiya side mirrors
Hood? Not sure what to get yet
19" AME 3pc wheels, chrome lip with dark bronze center

Right now I'm working on two things for the xterior. getting the engine bay painted and finish molding in my body kit. I have the rear bumper molded in but I need the front fenders to do the sideskirts. After I get the fenders, I can mold the sideskirts and mount up the front bumper. Just need the fenders (hint, hint, if you are reading Sonic ) The engine bay is all tore apart and the only thing left besides bolts here and there is the brake booster which I think I'm just going to paint around instead of taking it out.

After the whole body kit has been molded on and the engine bay painted, the whole car gets shot down with hopefully Candy Apple Red. Of course the silver goes on first.

I really hope by posting this, you guys some how get me to work on my car even just alittle bit faster. I will post pics of what I did each week so you guys can see what I did.

*This weekend* I know this is alittle off track but I'm going to polish my front control arms. Who knows how much of that will be seen when the wheels are on but I might as well since everything is out already, plus it'll win me some points at car shows.

Well, hassle me as much as you want, that's what this thread is meant for.

I got done polishing my upper A arms. I would have to say they look pretty for being a suspension piece. I didn't take too much time on them since I know not too many people will see them. I gave my camera to my friend to download on a CD so I should have pics of them on thursday the latest.

My engine bay is looking cleaner and cleaner but still hasn't even been sanded yet. Every time I rub it down with wax/grease remover, I keep getting my wipes dirty so I have to keep on wiping till it's all clean. I did however take that piece in front of the big pulley that goes all the way from one side of the engine bay to the other. I don't know what it's called exactlly but there were a couple bolts to take that long piece out and then I took out the mounting pieces by drilling 5 spot welds out on each side. I will have pics of those also on thrsday.

This weekend? I'm pretty sure I will get the engine bay all nice and sanded.

Here's my engine bay pic from a few months back. Looks much cleaner now.

Looking at this picture you can see the upper A arm so I think it's going to look pretty cool once it's all in and polished

You aren't going to install the fender plastic liners? I see a lot of dirt in the engine bay in your future

C'mon just think of the sound the motor is going to make, that should be enough to make you get to work on it. Also if you still have the drivers seat in it, then go sit in it for old times sake that usually works for me as well.

Why don't you Re-A ?
If you get RE-A full kit, I will give you Carbon Fiber Diffuser Pro for free.
PM me about details.
You can get RE-A products from RX7store or ARD T2, Rishie.

Purty.... Stock bushings in those? I can't tell, if so then you should put some Jimlab's or Mazdacomp's bushings in while you got them out...

It's been awhile hasn't it Well, I've done some things to my baby but not much. I got my C-West lights, R-Magic fenders, 19" Volk GT-C wheels, and waiting on my R-Magic Type III front with sideskirts. My brother just bought his CF hood so I'm getting his stock one, but for now I'm sporting his new hood and even his 99 front bumper. Next big thing to buy would be a big brake kit and a coilover setup. Here are some dark pics for you guys. I'm going to do more body work next month so stay tuned
