My Carbon Fiber creation!!!

So here it is, I still have a bit more to do as far as what im trying to accomplish but here is what i got so far. Dont mind the miss match on the passenger side I have to send the fender back to seibon because of fitment issues.

Currently:
Scoot VIS Hood ( Im going to sell and pick up the seibon one so all the carbon fiber is a perfect match )
Seibon Carbon Fiber Fenders
Seibon full Carbon Fiber Doors Inner and Outer
Feed Style Replica Carbon fiber Sides
Seibon Carbon fiber rear hatch

Future:
Trying to find a Carbon Fiber front bumper other that the C-2 one from carbon creations that thing is ugly.
If I cant find that Ill go with a Feed Front bumper w/ Carbon Fiber Canards
C-West Carbon fiber Front head lights
99 Spec tails w/ Carbon Fiber insert
99 Tail lights
Possibly a RE-Amiya Carbon Fiber tail light cover
Re-Amiya replica Carbon fiber rear diffuser.

Thanks for looking guys, feel free to leave comments on likes and dislikes, along with any questions.

Chris

im also interested in the weight savings; mainly on the doors. are you going to paint the CF parts silver or paint the rest of your car black to match? my vote's for one or the other.

how much were the doors?

rolling carbon fiber? that i'd like to see.

Nice if i had the $$ i might do something similar. I have an unhealthy addiction to fiber.

If you really have the $$ get in touch with Shineautoproject and they'll hook you up with some custom carbon.

i think you still have to find cf mirrors and cf door handles, i looks a little miss matched right now. i vote to have the body painted to look like carbon fibre, i seen it on some tv show, look into it.

So to answer the weight question, with all the parts I probably shaved off about 120lbs or so. I weighed the car yesterday and it weight 2680, its a touring with all options, im guesing it was considerably heavier. I am going to be looking for Carbon Fiber mirrors, and possibly the door handles. As far as the inside of the door maybe when I take the door panel off for something else, but its a pain in the *** to get it all to line up and bolt down. All though these products where great and easy to work with they still took little alterations. As far as paint I was kinda going with the stand out of carbon on silver. One other option i might go with is there is a company down south in Cali. that does carbon fiber over lay. Pretty much they lay carbon fiber on a mold that fits around the contour of your car and rivit it on, it looks pretty mean and with the rivits definately gives it a hint of race car. But that it super money. Thanks for the hit on shineauto I might hit them up and see if we can work comething out. Thanks for the comments guys i appreciate it.

The FEED "CF" handles aren't really CF, they are overlays.

The actual fitment was great. Had to drill out a few holes to make them a little bigger. Had to adjust the frame a little to get the window to go up and down without any problem. For the most part everything fit very well and didnt have too many problems.

And acutally no im not going to paint it. Its going to get some carbon fiber front lights, Carbon fiber front bumper. 99 spec wing with carbon insert, carbon fiber rear tail light cover, and a re amiya rear carbon fiber diffuser and carbon fiber side mirrors. The rest is going to stay silver for contrast.

don't do the overlay. Do a custom paint scheme that blends in the silver and "black" (CF) in a nice design. Looks very sweet.

be careful. I would never roll around advertising my car like that in san jo so be careful.

on my last FD i had the carbon fiber hood/fenders/front-bumper. i painted the fenders & front bumper but left the hood & kidney vents un-painted. it looked pretty nice. the painted CF gives a nice texture from the right angle.

Always a fan of another carbon car. Beware of fading from sun. I would suggest re-clearing your carbon.

So I was browsing some RX7's on car domain and ran across a silver FD that looked familiar with a pretty girl to go with it. LOL hey wouldnt you know it was Theo Rei. Not bad not bad at all. Its always hot to see a girl get her hands dirty.
