My audio doesn't work properly. help me

The audio system doesn't work properly. The sound comes from only right side speaker but is too quiet even though I make it louder fully. On the left side speaker, no sound.

So I asked the previous onwer about that. He told me the speakers are not the stock ones. That's why the audio system doesn't work properly. He said, the stock boss deck works fine only with the stock boss speakers. I don't know if he's right.

is there anybody who knows the answer?

if you have bose you have two options but new bose speakers cause they are wiring retarded or you can buy an aftermarket head unit and aftermarket speakers and rewire the entire car

yeah bose deck won't work right with any other speakers than bose, if you already have aftermarket speakers you're better off just getting an aftermarket deck.

I have never heard of that, but Bose is tricky. But if the wiring is all good I dont see why it would make a difference or how the deck would know they werent Bose speakers. But if this is true than ivest in what is cheaper new Bose speakers or an aftermarket deck that will work w. your speakers.

the ohm loads on the bose system is screwy which doesnt allow other aftermarket and bose to work properly together.

I think crutchfield sells an adaptor for the bose head unit so it will work with other speakers. I may be wrong though. It could be an adaptor for the bose system to work with an aftermarket head unit... I can't remember which way it is anymore.

I don't own a FD, so I really don't kknow the exact numbers. However aftermarkets radios are build to handle a 4ohm load from each speaker, using speakers with lower ohm may\will burn the radio, however if you use higher ohms speakers (6, 8 ohms) with a aftermarket radio, the sound volume will be much lower.

You are having problems with one side, right? If so, it might be the speaker, wiring of the radio output. Your best bet is to replace the OEM speaker with some aftermarket ones.
