molding fiberglass to steel???
I have a kamenari fiberglass wing for my 2nd gen. I would like to mold it into the body, every tech at my job in the body shop says no matter how well you do this is will crack within two years. Is this true?? Is there any method that I can use to prevent it from cracking??

I did body work for about a year and a half. I think that if you mold the wing directly to the body, it will crack. If you fill the existing holes and then just bolt the wing on....you'll be fine. The bodyflex is what makes the pieces crack, and if you mold something on there and it can't flex with the car, then it will break guaranteed.

You can attach fiberglass to steel like the Corvette, its a product called vettebond. It would not crack but then again it would never come off and you would have to go down to bare metal.
