I have a 1989 convertible that has shot stock seats. The leather hardened and cracked and the foam is deteriorating. I have searched around to find a replacement, but everything is sport/racing seats. Those do not appeal to me. My goal is to find a set of OEM seats from another car preferably one still in the junkyard that will fit this car. I can forgo the headrest speakers.

I am not above doing mods to the seats or rails, but I still want to use the stock rails.

I would think perhaps a Miata or Subi seat might fit, but I have no idea.

I managed to find what I believe to be an FB drivers seat in the junkyard a few weeks ago. I will test fit it once the weather warms up.

 

I've seen people adapt FD and RX8 seats into the FC. You could try that.
