Miata Steering wheel compatibility? Anyone use one?

Hey I am looking to use a Miata NB compatible steering wheel on a FD.

Does anyone know which steering wheel splines are inter compatible between models, and what if any pitfalls or problems are associated with swapping a steering wheel like that?

Any wiring or Airbag issues, length of splines steering shaft, dimensional problems or other issues someone that has never dealt with this before might not know to make sure is correct?

Does anyone happen to know details about a FD steering spline like the diameter, spline count and a Miata NB by chance?

anyone so something similar and found hang ups with inter compatibility?

TIA

Fits bolt on. both Airbag and even CC works as stock.

Thank you for the reply, is that true across all models of Miata in terms of spline? I am specifically interested I the NB as that is what the wheel is stated specifically to be...but it is a part that I cannot inspect in person and have to take the sellers word for all details.

Probably a better question for a Miata forum, but my assumption is many people here have done this swap, and were more invested in making sure the crossover compatibility information was more accurate.

*Also I was searching around yesterday, and just remembered that the rear of the wheel might need to be drilled for the "clock spring" ?
Does this apply to the NB wheel to make it compatible for a FD at all?
Absolutely not a issue, have a mill and good tools, and know how to use them...
But want to know what I am in for before hand.

Thank you!

Im not sure on the details. I am using a NB steering wheel that i got from @ZE Power MX6 in his Nardi OEM Mazda Steering Wheels thread
It fit my car bolt on 100% and looks amazing.

I am not sure if he did any work before hand, but given this is Mazda, i am 99,99% sure that they just used the exact same wheel for FD and NB. They don't have a habit of changing things they don't have to.

They'll need to be drill and modify the wiring, CC can only be mount on certain wheels, and the circuit board will need to be modify as well.
