The last time i posted here was when i was looking for ideas for me new paint job. Well its done and i went with metallic copper as many whom pm'ed me. Interior is also copper. Whadya reckon?

 

Wow! That color is beautiful! It really has kind of like a copper chrome shine to it Very unique and has a very nice flare to it.

A friend of mine has almost the same color on his FD:

 

Previously it was Pearl Black (Glasurit Paint) and it was a bitch to mantain. Everytime i need to touch up i'd never get the new paint to match. Me wife picked the color (gotta let them do something!!) Pretty happy how it turned out. Paint job whole car was only 700bucks with paint.

 

Both those cars are gorgeous. I love those colors, very original. fd3s7007, anymore pics?

 

Is it just me or do the passenger-side headlight covers on both cars look a little off?

Yup you noticed that too. Well i suppose that happens when you entrust your car to an idiot that supposedly says he can fix simple thing like lights!! Anyways i removed the housing and found that the holder was drilled into and some extra nuts and bolts have been added. The reason was that monkey broke some clips. I've got them fastened but it really has to be replaced.

 

I'm really good at resizing pics and all so pls excuse the quality. Thats me and my girl...and oh not forgetting my lovely wife

 

hahahaha. I've honestly never actually polished or waxed the car since the paint job. Oh well i guess i better start now. Thanks for the heads up.

I can't believe how excellent copper looks on FD's, it really does look sharp.

 

What color is that exactly? Do you happen to have a paint code or know what car that color came off of? I think that color look gorgeous on your car.

Thanks guys. The paint is off a toyota catalogue. Mettalic Copper if memory serves me right. Its the standard colour on the Toyota Vios, at least in Malaysia it is.

Gonna get it cleaned and polished this weekend i hope. Any ideas on what to use?
