It takes ALOT of work to fit them in the front, but it can be done. I modified my bose panels and put in some Boston Acoustics Proseries 5.4's But I'm sure if you custom fab. a panel the 6.5's can fit. A friend of mine put in 6.5's and 4"s in the doors with the tweets mounted on the sail panels. It can be done, but it's a TON of custom work.

I'm not sure on the rear. My friend made these custom panels out of 1/2" mdf and alot of fiberglass. They were in the front doors and held a 6.5 and a 4" speakers. The car sounded amazing the front staging was perfect. As for the rear I'm sure if you can do custom work they'll fit. Just don't think that they will "drop in".

Do either of you know of anyone with their front speakers mounted in the kick panels? I want to mount my Dynaudio 5.25's and 1" tweets in the kicks but have not seen it done or know what kind of work it would take. Lemme know if you have any info.

Thanks!

sorry snipe, I have no idea if anyone has done it, but I'm sure it can be done. We have large kickpanels so It can't be that hard to make panels to fit there. Check with your local High-end car audio place. Make sure the installer is really good with fiberglass and it should be easy for them to do, but expensive for you.

good luck

Hey, thanks for the help. That install looks a little insane though!!! How much do you think it would cost for just the kicks? And do you think that it is even worth it or should I just mount them in the stock door or rear mounts and find an alternative location for the tweets?

By the way, where in LA are you? If you have any hook ups on gear or install I'm just about an hour north in Santa Barbara and if you have reccomendations I would love to know.

Thanks again!
