Loose RX-8 lighted shift **** emblem **FIX**

Well I posted on this before when I noticed that the emblem on my RX-8 shift **** was rattling and loose. Someone mentioned just super gluing the edges of the chrome down as a fix.

Well mine finally fell off and I noticed that the top shift pattern emblem had two components A white clear plastic and the shift pattern emblem.

Underneath is a screw that tightens the top emblem piece to the shift ****. This must have worked loose from all of the tranny vibrations:

I just put a little lock-tite to the screw...tightened it with a allen wrench and put some small dabs of glue to the white plastic piece and shift pattern piece:

ALL FIXED!

Yea...I'm a visual person. Plus I just got a new digital camera that has an amazing low light sensor. That last pic was taken in the garage with no flash and no direct light!
