I read all this - anyone have latest view on what seat and rail for 6'2 200lb person? Recline seat (10-25 degrees) then of course as low down and as far back as possible?
And want lower (and maybe further back?) than OEM
Thank you so much

I'm 6' 2" running a RT1000 with 27 deg of recline based on the seat back with garage star rails and a samberg cage. I don't quite fit comfortably with a helmet on, but its doable. My helmet also touches the padding on the cage hoop.
I see that the recaro pole position ABE fits.("Recaro Pole Position ABE's with Griffiths seat bases. It was a very tight fit with only a slight touch on the drivers side (RHD))". I have only seen the FIA in person and the fitment is great. I am considering getting a set of the ABEs to replace my TS-Gs. Can someone share some pictures with the ABEs fitment?
please include rails information along with the bushing sizes
Thanks

Doesnt look like this mount is made anymore
Who makes a non slider floor mount - adapts to the OEM bolt locations and lets you put side mounted seat and sit the bottom of the seat on the carpet
To get the SR Series Recaros to fit you have to remove the outer seat adjustment *****. This leaves a 1/2'' post exposed. I closed my door with the seat back tipped forward and gouged a significant hole in my door card.;
The Bride Stradias I & II look so good. However its been difficult to find a used pair in the color I want. Kind of half waiting to see if the new III version will fit. The shoulder width is only 5mm wider on the III's. Can someone with the Stradia II measure the distance to the door card ?
I'm leaning on getting the Stradia III's. According the bride website they fit.
Really ? Everytime I check the website it says "All models of the reclining seat can not be mounted ." But it does say they will fit a MX-5(miata) and I know the Recaros from that car will fit so maybe ? Also is there any chance they will make a Japan edition?
All USDM cars were two seaters. The longer rail might have been to accommodate taller Americans. Conversely, a shorter rail might have been to protect the wee one's ankles when sitting in the back of the four seater.
Does anyone on here have the recaro pole position ng (fia) seats installed in their FD? If so do they contact the door panels? Also what bases did you use and how was the seat height compared to stock?
i've tried about 13 different type of seats on my FD... including the oem RZ seats....
the cobra nogaro is so the closest to the oem RZ seat in term for sitting position and comfort level.
the bottom of the shell is notched to clear slider rails to give you additional adjustments. if you look at the mounting rail i have another 2-3 inch of adjustment to lower the seat.. or give its a bit more tilt for the tall guys to clear your long legs.and roof.

how did the pole positions fit? Are they rubbing at all anywhere? I want to get them but I keep getting mixed answers on how they fit and what rails and sliders to use. I'm 6'1" and 205lbs so I'd like them lower.

I can confirm that the Bride Stradia III low cushions fit perfectly. I just installed mine tonight. Both seats fit. Only pics of one installed but I do have both seats in.
