since we're talking about seats does any body know where I can get seat rails that are longer so I can move my seat back more? I have a JDM (RHD) version of the FD and supposedly the seat rails on the J-Spec cars don't go back as far as the USDM ones, since the steering wheel is on opposite side can I just use a USDM passenger (right side) rail to work? Being 6'3 with long legs in a FD is a pain haha but I love my car to death.

Dude post pics...

Will fit

1. Stock FD Seats (does this really need to be on the list?)
2. Recaros from the Spirt R
3. Gias Lowmax
4. Bride Zeta III
5. Bride Vios III lowmax
6. Mazdaspeed Type-F
7. Memoryfab s58
8. Corbeau - some models, they supply the custom racks.

11. Sparco Roadster
12. Sparco EVO with stock seat rail (shoulder bolster will rub on the door)

Will fit with modifications

1. Corbeau FX1 - fits with seat modification. Corbeau FX1 Install in FD
2. Sparco Evo 2 - - fits with seat modification.
3. Rx-8 seats (can be made to fit by modifying the racks)
4.Cobra Imola (with some minor triming of door side shoulder wing)

Will NOT fit

1. Sparco Fighter
2. Sparco Torino 2

Pending pics

Seats that fit.

Memory FAB S58.

Seats are TIGHT. YOu fit snug as hell lol.

Not recommended if you're wider than a 36 inch waist or over 185lbs.

Yes, you will need to purchase a set of their rails for the FD.

I bought the "super low" rails. It only allows the seat to sit about 1 inch lower than stock. But it still feels great.

Rails are like OEM fit,

What are the exact seat brackets that you speak of?

I am a 5"10 big boned sob with 38 of waste. Unfortunently, i bought Torinos 2 that i saw in some members car but even with stock rail modification, if I don't want them to rub on the doghouse, or the door panel, I would have to saw off one side of the inclining shaft. which I wont do on a brand new seat sorry. I will most likely sell them soon.

What would you guys suggest, i know the GIAS look spectacular but I dont feel like going with 1500$ a pop seats. Even non-ajustable will do for me as long as they are confortable (confortable as in not too tight) and that I have enough room for helmet.

He's talking about the MemoryFab seat rails & brackets (since he's using their seat):

After reading Dhalen's post about Fat *** bastards who need a seat big enough for their butts thread. I think the best option would be the Corbeau Forza with Corbeau's seat rails.

I'll post some pics when I get them.

+1 on Recaro SPG's w/ bride rails fitting with a slight shoulder rub on doors. Really doesnt bother anything. Door still closes fine, seats are amazing.

Here they are installed on my car...

Anyone try the Sparco Chrono Roads yet?
I'm guessing they're similar in size to the Milano's.

Like mahjik said, i purchased the mem fab "super low" seat rails with the seats.

If you have a 38" waist, these are not the seats for you lol. No offense but i am a small built guy (about 162lbs) and i THINK its tight. I sorta broken in the driver side a bit but first couple of uses and its a bit hard to get used to. Getting in and out is a bit tough because you cant rely on the bottom sides to maneuver yourself out because the entire seat is made of carbon fiber, so the actual sides are hard. What i do is i use my left hand on the door sill and push myself out while my right hand is on the 12 o clock position of the steering wheel pushing myself out as well. lol

Out of all these seats that fit, do any slide, recline, and sit lower than OE? I know it's a lot to ask. Looks like the Bride Gias might be the ticket pending seating height on sliders?

From my experience, get the memfab S68 which are like the seats i purchased and posted pics of but they recline. And you're literally sitting on the floor. (i cant stick my hand under the seat).

Doesn't look like the S68's recline. Also, did you have these on sliders?
