I can't stand the look of any of the veilside kits. Then again, I'm not a big fan of ANY body kits. I guess I just find the clean, uncluttered stock look too beautiful to mess with. To me, most of the body kits take the pontiac approach to styling. Wonder why I don't own a pontiac.

Just my opinion.

 

Personally, I never liked the Veilside kits. It's just TOOO much. TOO long, too angular, and, IMO, it totally kill's the FD's lines.

But there IS one body kit I like

Well i happen to kinda like the veilside combat 2 kit. Its kinda grabs my attention, But... I do think it detracts from the fds smooth contour. the nose i think is the only main problem with that kit. But thats just my opinion

 

I had the CI kit on my old car. It really turned heads and fit was unbelievable. The good thing about VS kits is they are extremely well built and dont expand or shrink at all in extreme temps. They arent cheap though btw. But personally i like the VS kits but.........the kit going on my new FD is gonna be the Mazdaspeed 15th Anniverasary Edition

 

I saw a car with the kit on it, yes the same kit as the first pic on the thread. The side skirts are plain ugly and they do stick out(sort of makes it look like suv's sidesteps). the rear skirts(sides on the bumper really) look kinda funny since they do not wrap around- i may be wrong about the legit VS kit though-
The combat kit does make people look(seen it on other mazdas) but its more like a teenager's ricer, real nasty!
Like someone said, to each his own. I just thought the mazdaspeed, c west, and re amemiya are the better looking ones and i'm sure there more manufacturers that make better looking kits than VS.
