Does anyone know if Mazda did some FD tail lights with less of a tint so they aren't super dark? These ones pictured looks less opaque than the usual ones.

Is there a way to remove the tint from the OEM lights?

 

All tails are slightly tinted. The top picture is in different lighting conditions than the bottom making it look lighter.
