Sup guys, so I have a RHD FD out here and my window switch is busted. The only switch that I can buy out here is around 300 bucks. Which I would like to avoid at all costs. I checked with a guy in the US and the switch will cost me 160 with shipping.

Anyway, it's just the driverside switch, the button snapped off and I can't jimmy rig it to work. I was wondering if I took a LHD window switch, would it work in my RHD? Or are the parts not at all compatible?

Driver's side switch has an "automatic" driver's window button. LHD's driver side switch would be inverted (automatic button would be for the passenger).

 

so they are completely inter-changeable? Because the US dealer said that if I purchase it, and if it doesn't work I can't return it. =\

As I said, automatic button would be inverted if you buy from an American dealership... I'd PM Fritz_Flynn or Japan2LA, maybe one of them got a JDM window switch AND for a much lower price shipped to your door.

 

They are interchangeable, however when you push down the right button the passenger side window will roll down and visa versa which can get annoying.
