well, a few years later i am FINALLY installing these things, haha. Il maybe start up a new thread on the project.
Call pettit directly to order and expect to wait 2-3 months,,, only to be severly disapointed in the overall product. Ive so far had to cut/grind/shave the living hell out of the flares to make for decent fitment. I know it will be worth it in the end, soo il continue cutting/grinding tomorow, haha.

Since il actually have an engine with crazy torque in my car... I have been toying with the idea of getting the Pettit rear fender flares/widebody so i can run 330's in the rear. :-)
Only thing stoppin me is, i wanna see if it looks goofy or not. I hate ricey looking ****, especially on FD's. Although this is a function over fashion part in my opinion/instance. Also the fact that it bolts on and has those bogus resessed areas for the screws/rivits, and i dont think i want to have it blended. (see rice & cracking bondo)... Lastly, i think you have to butcher up the stock fender in order to make clearance for the fatty tires. Not too sure i want to do that as well to my car.
Ps, i know i can see pics on www.pettit.com but the pics are very generic. I wanna see some good shots of that rear end!

thanks! Your car was the one that inspired me to do mine as you see it! i love these flares, it gives these cars the "oh ****!" factor hahaha. Next Im going to do the centers of my wheels a satin black and do a light tight on the windows, maybe 20%, its going to look even more evil!! I also finally lowered my car so its not sitting all high.
