Hey Guys,
It looks like most people running these flares have 18x12 wheels in the rear. has anyone tried 18x10 in the rear with these flares? i'm thinking about putting the flares on, but the wheels i ordered are 18x10. just curious how it would look. can't imagine it would look too bad. any pics would be great. thanks.

LOL, he probably has a fuel cell or is that a hole in the back?

As for the gas door, Pettit now makes a set of flares that has the gas door location cut out. In other words, you can install the flares and still use the stock gas door location. 335s will fit but everything has to be shaved correctly.
FYI - I went with 18 X 12.5" on the recommendation of Pettit.

Make sure a qualified body shop does the molding -- using quality fiberglass, bondo, body filler, etc. You also have to decide on whether to have the cutout for the gas cap or relocate the gas refueling assembly. I had the rear side markers and gas cap shaved (welded the holes for the side markers and gas cap). The welding tends to warp the thin rear quarter panel. So to properly blend the fender flares is extremely time consuming. Good luck with whatever route you decide to take. Nothing attracts attention like 335s in the rear .

On my blue care, I have to open the rear hatch and open a fuel cell (26 gallons) to fill up gas. I'm not sure how I want to do the CYM yet - I don't want to have to use a Sparco/Audi type gas cap door since there are not many flat body panels on the rear quart panel to put one. I've already shaved the gas cap door since I don't like the look of the fender flare with the gas cap cut out.
