Wink Led tails on fc

Today I received my 4" trailer lights and I am undertaken my conversion...
I'm highly surprised that the lights fit so well. Please excuse the pics...Iphone camera does not have a fllash....

Red has 72 leds.

Amber has 40 leds.

Those look pretty nice. How about posting up some night pics? I am curious how the brake lights look. Are they bright enough?

Those look nice So when you turn them on, they come on at one level and when you hit the brakes, the light up brighter right?

It was pretty easy to wire as well. Pay close attention when wiring the amber LED because if you connect the wrong wire it will not be bright.

sealing tail lights

I used 3M Window Weld to seal my tail lights. I have not had any issues with fogging or water in the tail lens. This can be purchased at Advanced Auto Parts or Pep Boys.

hey i noticed that around 0:55-1:00 the turn signal dimed down and was very light was that the camera trying to focus or the does the "leds" not stay constant brightness i was thinking that a bigger fuse was need to keep up with the new voltage?

they look like Semi-Truck tail lights.

i HATE when you can see each individual LED on tail lights. definitely not a fan.

you should try my 'diffuser' method.

you could do the same thing that i did, but use a full circle instead of a ring.

I agree with you Tom but for the price, it's a great idea. Kudos to him for being so ingenious with the retrofit.
