Also, I imagine this kit will make the door go up and sort of out from the car at an angle (like most cheap Honda kits) instead of straight up like the RE kit.

However, I'm interested to see how this kit works with the heavy stock doors.
How much is the "RE" Kit !?? And can you (Someone) import it !!?

Looks like the vertical door thing would be cool, but it seems to depend how the door fits into the frame weather or not they have to move it out so it looks less vertical and more half ***-embeled.

As far as I know, RE doesn't make a kit. You have to send them your car and they do the conversion themselves. The last I heard, the coversion was around $10k.

I don't know if they would be able to just make a kit for our cars, considering the weight and all.

When i was in japan, like 90% of all cars in magazines have lambo doors.

when I was at RE-Amemiya, they said they make a BETTER lambo kit for the FD, because the door pops out before it goes up, giving a larger angle for opening the door, and it doesnt rattle they claim. they only install it (dont make kits) and it costs ALOT more...looks ncie though.

i think gull wing doors would kick ***, ive always liked those, as far as lambo doors i dont really like them as much just for the fact they are becoming too popular.

God I love those. I would get out my car for nothing at every stop light, and do a little dance and show off my doors

I heard they sag after awhile, forgot where I read that, but that would suck I guess

Thats a lot of cash though. Thats one of the last thing's I would do though $1500-$2000 is a lot to spend on my doors.

PLEASE POST SOME PICS WHEN YOU GET THIS DONE!!!

i saw decah's kit on a 350Z and a eclipse. You open the door like normal for 6in. or so then they go up. Not bad.
