lambo door kit released 8/13

i had a talk with decah today and they are releasing their lambo door conversion as a direct bolt in replacement for the 3rd generation rx7 on august 13th, and the price is to be around $1900 shipped. Just thought this would end all of that "where can I get that"
posts that ive seen.

i dont really see why someone would really wanna spend 1900 for it. I would really like to see a door conversion that comes up vertically over the roof i forget what kind of door that would be called, kinda like the mclaren f1. that would be really hot. especially on a RX-7 or Supra.

Yes they are electronically controlled (opening and closing).
It is sooo nice, when I first saw the SuperV7 I thought if I can get the money to do the doors I will, which was over 7 years ago. I still do.
But then I also want the 6 speed shift kit for my FD.

1900 isn't that expensive for what you get.

I do believe that people would buy it.

If it didn't add any weight or permanently screw up the car, you'd have to at least consider it

As much as I like that car, I seriously doubt this $2000 kit is going to make the doors look like the RE car. The RE car, for instance, isn't using the stock doors. Also, I imagine this kit will make the door go up and sort of out from the car at an angle (like most cheap Honda kits) instead of straight up like the RE kit.

However, I'm interested to see how this kit works with the heavy stock doors.
