Favorite wing on 3G

I was just curious as to what your guys' favorite wing wing was on a 3G. I was plannning to go with CWest's kit ans go with the 99'Spec wing. What do you guys think?? Fiberglass,CF,Aluminum????

Personally i like the mazda wings, Either the '99 (racing beat type 2 is close too), the stock US spec, or the GTC wing. Three different styles that fit the car great. I think the C-west kit begs for an aggressive wing, If it were my descision, i'd get the GTC wing.

If the rest of your body isn't too modded, I'd go with the stock R1/R2 wing, or the '99 wing. If you had an entire kit, I would use the '99 wing.

Nah, I say if your body is stock...FEED! That is only a possibility if money isn't a factor however, as it is very pricey.

I agree that the FEED is the best looking spolier. however, i think it looks kinda funny if you dont have aftermarket wheels

you can find a pic of the FEED spolier in TwinTurboTeddy 's sig. just do a search.

thanks for the replys guys...I've seen Alex's CWest car w/o a wing at all, and it looked very sharp. To me the Cwest kit and headlight conversion is very subtle, and I wouldn't want an overy aggressive or wild wing to take away from the kit. The 99'Spec wing and 99 taillamps would really spice up the back.

Could someone enlighten me on wha the GTC wing is?? Thanks. Good opinions so far.

I just saw the FEED in TwinTurboTeddy's sig. Looks very sharp. Albeit, not my style though. I like a wing thats a little more independent from the car, but I don't want to shell out almost $2,000 simply for a wing.

Until someone says otherwise, it'll be CWest and the 99 Spec.

Hmmmm. I like, I like. I've seen that kit wingless too, w/aftermarket wheels. I have quite a few options here..

I think the best wing around is the 25th aniversery wing. The one that extends off the back of the car with a gt touring style shape. Simply awesome!

If you look up on an old option video you can see about a wing test. The stock wing actually does produce a little downforce... there was an ironing board style wing that was also tested, and this wing produced the best usable downforce (even though it is ugly... ). Personally, I like the US wing... unless stated before you have a 99 conv kit with the 99 wing (as far as looks). I think the 99 wing was in the test too and was second in downforce.

I like the stock R1/R2, very clean lines, and subtle styling
