I was wondering if this sounded like a good idea to anyone else, so i have a 94 FD touring and its rather strange, it used to have the BOSE system but was gutted as the back of the car had caught on fire 10 years ago and burned a majority of the wave system and etc. So i was planing to just install a whole new system, there isn't a head unit in the car either, just the bear wires so without the harness, so i was thinking i can install an android head unit and and attempt to fix the system. Or option 2 would be to build a $300 AMD PC load it with windows xp, and the Haltech e6k program and installing a 7in HDMI monitor were the head unit would go, and run a 7.1 sound system in the car, just wiring to after market 6x8 speakers.

TL;DR : Go with regular head unit, or build pc and use it instead.
