i am getting ready to paint my car soon and i was wondering how many lear coats do i need to do. just want to know thanks

I don't know about the rest, but I'd appreciate a detailed thread title. We all post threads because we JUST need an answer.

With that said; I'd also appreciate a detailed thread BODY:

are you talking about how many coats of paint? How many coats of CLEAR COAT?

If you're ready to paint I hope you eiher take it somewhere so THEY can do it right or go to the link posted above and learn to paint.

Everyone would appreciate better thread titles. For a while I was changing them, then I got bored and stopped caring.

Generally you spray one clear coat. Multiple coats add more depth, luster and protection but increase the cost. Your body shop should be able to make suggestions based on your goals.
