Well, I want to put a new deck into my car, but according to circut city you cannot wire any other dash recevier with the bose speakers. Is this true? If so, how would i go about getting my stock receiver out of the dash? I have tried the coat hanger method and can only get it out about 4 inches, and it seems if i pull any harder the wires will break. I don't know what to do because, taking the dash apart looks like a field day.

Haha, you must have some busted-*** people working at your Circuit City in your town.
I work at Circuit City in So. Cal. and we don't have a problem with Bose-equipped cars. There are many ways of doing it. The easiest way to do it is to get the adapter from Crutchfield. It's even easier to bypass the whole Bose system entirely if you don't want to use the old speakers.
Search the forum, there is a lot of help about this.
