The color actually looks darker than this in person. The sun was pretty bright when I took the pics. What do you think?...

Wow, looks amazing! I really like the IBM and the body kit with the stock brake lights looks really good. I usually like the round tails more, but on your car the stock look better. I don't know if I like the headlights or not...if I didn't know the FD that well I would think the sleek covers were missing (yeah I know, always a negative :P) Anyhow, very nice work on the whole car, looks VERY good (Nice exhaust too )

Thanks for the positive feedback!!! The color is actually Chrysler Electric blue pearl. It comes on the new turbo PT cruisers.

The color looks remarkably similar to IBM, and it looks great. I'm not a fan of the bodykit or headlights, but that's just me. How much was the paintjob? What color was it before? ...and of course, the mandatory "Did you paint the engine bay & doorjams?"

love the color, the side skirts look alright, rear skirts are nice, wing is definitely nice... but IMO the hood, front end, and lights are all absolutely hideous

Looks great -though I'm not feeling the front bumper- the scoot hood, and choice of color is great. All you need now, are some rims and I would personally do some 99spec tail lights. Nice looking car though.

Thanks, I do plan on getting some rims and the 99 spec tails sometime, but I'm broke now after the paint job. The paint job was $3700, that was for doing all the body work, mounting the body kit, hood, and spoiler. The door jams were painted, and also the parts inside the hatch that can be seen. Some of the engine bay was painted, but not all of it. They didn't pull my engine out, so it was just everything they could do without pulling it. One thing I was kind of mad at was they didn't paint the underside of my hood. I'm going to take it back to them in a couple days when I get it running right, because they scratched the side skirt at the edge of the wheel well when the towed it back to my house and did some other stupid things with it. It was Motego blue before.

haha, addition. The house used to be seperate from the garage. We are adding a room between the two and another above the garage. You can kind of see it better in this pic...

ah, I shouldn't have assumed it was IBM - looks almost identical strangely enough. I wonder which colour looks better after time? Probably your's because I haven't seen the IBM hold up too well to weather/the elements. Very nice though

Hey bladz311, can you PM me the place you had it painted at, the person you worked with. That price seems fair for what I am looking to do and pay. I have a MB that I will be getting painted and body kitted as well. Thanks.

man, who does everyone have to put it down, if you dont like it keep it to yourself, everyone has different opinions and different things that they like, he was excited that he got his car back after months of waiting and wanted to post pictures and then the select few who feel it is their duty come out and say it sucks, well screw it, I know of few people who have put the time and effort into not only his own car but have started an entire car club, maintained a website for it that includes bio's and videos and is as nice as he is. And to anyone who thinks his car sucks, great then keep your taste to yourself because obviously if you are that bitter and cruel then you suck yourself. Some people on this forum are great guys but its getting to the point where they are so few and far between its hard to weed them out from the asses. So either take your bad comments, young know it all attitude or your screw the world midlife crisis attitudes and shove them, people dont always need to have their car treaded on especially when they are proud of it. So back off, and get a life

Thats so funny, I saw a bright blue PT Turbo the other day, and said to my friend that I was in the car with "Thats the color I'm painting my FD when the time comes!" Awesome, now I know the name of it. Do you have the paint code for it too?

The car looks awesome by the way. I would add 99 spec tails, and as much as I love the stock rims, they look to small with that body kit. Next on the list maybe?

I'm sure you have seen a plethera of IBM colored Fd's to know that the paint doesn't hold up to the weather.
WTF Kinda statement is that anyway? LOL

Anyway, My observations, the bumper is ugly with a capitol U(my opinion) and that is alot of body kit for stock wheels. I hope you have an engine bay to back up all that cash tied to the outside of that car.. Enjoy.
Which is it anyway , 2 fast or 2 furious..

D.

Folks who have body kits hardly ever hate on the Veilside, C-West, or Joe Schmo kits for that matter. It's usually the ones who have either a stock-*** FD or no FD at all are the ones that usually hate. I've noticed that when I was at 7Stock5. Those doods who were all stock were saying, "hey, that's an ugly kit, or wow, I would never get that kit". The ones who were hooked up with body mods were like, "hey, that's pretty cool, or It's different but you like it and that makes it cool".
So for all you youngens or oldens who have ********, I mean, opinions, (either ones smell like ****) please back it up.
