Just got a Knightsports CF hood. Makes the car look way better

I don't know why I though the stock hood would satisfy me. Ths CF hood looks awesome and is functional as well. Justus and I also modified it by adding some reflective shields, don't want to burn my hood on the first week now Haven't had a chance to really test out the shielding since my car overheated today The good news is now I know the vents work. Nothing like sitting at a red seeing all the heat fumes blur your vision

Looking good bro!! definitely paint your 7 a different color, with the carbon fiber hood and color your 7 looks like the NX(Nitrous Express) Rx7. I think the pearl you were talking about would look sick!! Oh, and for my project, soon brutha, I just need to finish bitch-*** school, and I'll be hitting you up soon

Looks awesome, but yeah, it does look like the NX car. Still looks good though.

By the way, what front end is that? It looks great. And it works well with the c west side skirts.

Looks sweet, really works well about the car. If it looks like the nx car so what, it obviously has to look good since is their sponsored car. Anyways looks like the front bumper and the front of the hood need to be aligned a little better, or it could just be me. Anyway sweet hood.

Damn guys, I think he just got done painting the car. Red is best anyways.

I'm also curious to hear about the fit especially between the hood and bumper there. Could you tell us where you picked up the hood from or what type it is? I am really thinking about getting the VIS "KS(KnightSport)" hood.

Thanks for all the compliments guys, even the one about my car looking like the NX FD The hood is a VIS that I got from a local shop. Finished is absolutly amazing!! The best CF hood I've seen yet. It'll look even better after I clear coat it.

That gap in the front is probably my fault. I haven't gotten around to it, but all I need to do is push the front bumper back alittle. I had the gap even with a stock hood, so I know this hood isn't the problem. Fit is perfect. I was worried about hood clearance with my exhaust manifold and intake manifold but the hood actually gave me more clearance, I was really happy about that. I just hope those shields will support the heat now

You can also slot the holes in the hinges. That lets you move the hood forward without moving the bumper skin. If nothing else, it gives you one more adjustment to play with to get everything to line up the way that you want.

that actually won't work cause then my hood would overlay my headlights, they're almost hitting as it is

Looks good man. I agree, VIS uses the best clear coat I have EVER seen on a carbon fiber hood and that includes all the $1000+ hoods from Japan companies. Also the wrapped sides are a plus.

I like it, and I'm usually not of hoods that don't match the paint color. But on your car it looks pretty good.

I'll be boosting next week when the rest of my silicone couplers show. I'm hoping to make anywhere from 450-500rwhp. Next year when I stroke the motor and run a decent amount of boost, I should have anywhere from 800rwhp to 1000rwhp, it's hard to tell right now
